Do you ever get the feeling that you're exactly where you're meant to be. I'm a firm believer in the universe always gives you what you need in every moment, but there's few times where I actually feel it. It's not always when everything in life is all peachy & rainbows. Occasionally it's like this, when it's all mixed, or, even more often when everything is going downhill and you've got nothing to hold on to.Read More
Love is the single, greatest thing to ever exist; I think that those of you who say otherwise are in denial. If you give someone enough love they will be grateful for eternity, it will shine out of them like the sun, they will ease through even the toughest of life's tribulations.
It has no limits, boundaries, exceptions, or conditions.Read More
I find myself living for the future a lot lately. You see, I am going travelling in just over two weeks (at the time of writing this), and after six months of flat out work, it's definitely fair to say that effort I put in at work has slipped dramatically. I find myself just wishing the days away, counting down the time until I get to leave and not working for several months. The only downfall is that there is no guarantee that I will survive these two weeks (morbid I know, but true) or that it will be anything like I think when I do, and by living for the future I am wasting this moment - life.Read More
I think the most important lesson I've learnt over the past six months was taught to me by flowers. I was lucky enough to stumble upon a job at a flower nursery in July of 2016 and have been there for the past six months. A lot more goes into it than some of you might think, especially given the scale of the nursery and all the different varieties we grow, nevertheless, I am lucky enough to say that my job is to care for and pick flowers.
The simple lesson I learnt was this...Read More
The more okay you can become with whatever happens, the more free you will be; you see, detachment in the spiritual sense of the word, isn't another way of saying denying pain or withdrawing. Infact, it's the complete opposite; it is feeling everything that ever comes to you, it is not clinging onto happiness hoping for an extra second before the sadness comes, it is not fighting the sadness that we all share, pushing it away with all our strength, waiting for the sun to rise.Read More
Gift-giving is a very kind thing to do and it makes us feel good, we like to see the positive reaction on people's face and share in the happiness it brings them. This is a wonderful experience and brings us all closer together. For most of us, not expecting a gift in return isn't too hard to come to terms with, but when we delve deeper into our reasons for giving are we truly expecting nothing in return?Read More
The mountains taught me that even the most immovable object on this Earth, is whittled away by simple water given enough time. One drop has the mountains' impermanence etched within it's very nature.Read More
We like to think caring is a lot more difficult than not caring, but I don't think that's true. Caring is in our nature, it is essential to who we are. If we relax and don't force anything we see that compassion is our most basic attribute. If you saw a complete stranger get into an accident, your instant response is to make sure they are okay and to get help for them. This action happens before thought comes into the equation and is proof that before concepts, thoughts or ideas, before the mind, we care for one another.Read More
I would like to preface this by saying the sole purpose of this post is to bring into your awareness the invalidity of thoughts. I do not ask for sympathy, nor do I wish to receive messages asking if I'm okay. I have no intentions of ever believing the reoccurring thought. Human life is an immeasurably incredible gift to be blessed upon me and I am eternally grateful to be able to experience all that this beauty filled universe has to offer. I will be here for as long as deemed necessary by whichever higher power decides when it is time. Love guides my way, not fear. Thank you.
Occasionally I have the thought that...

I want you to explore, I truly do. In every possible sense of the word; expand all of your horizons, limitations and comfort zones. See the Sahara in Africa, the towering Himalayas in India, the rainforests of South America, the Pacific north-west in America, the Great Barrier Reef of Australia, the barren steppes of western Mongolia, all of it; all of this varying and incomprehensibly vast planet that we inhabit. Go...
